Our pharmacy partner is a PCAB accredited facility with over 25 years of expertise. Our practitioner who will work with you has over 25 years working in the healthcare industry with the last 10 years being in Hospital Medicine. Our practitioner received training and mentorship in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy from world renowned practitioners who have more than 20 years in the industry.

How my journey began

Hi there! My name is Cynthia Schumpert and I am a board certified Nurse Practitioner with over 25 years of experience in healthcare. I completed training with the Bioidentical Hormone Therapy Academy and it was surprising to me how many subtle perimenopausal symptoms I had been experiencing over the past few years without even realizing it. 

Oftentimes, we hear about the typical “PMS” and “hot flashes” symptoms, yet there are so many other symptoms that a woman can experience as her hormones decline that are not so obvious. Because of the symptoms I was experiencing, I made an appointment with my GYN doctor and requested that she order lab tests for me so that I could determine why I was having some of the symptoms I was experiencing. Sure enough, I was depleted in several of my hormones. With this knowledge, my GYN’s answer was, “I’ll send in a prescription for birth control pills. This should help with your symptoms.” I never picked up the prescription, instead I wanted to find out for myself what the best and safest treatment for myself would be. That’s when the whole world of BHRT opened up to me. I was fascinated with what I learned, which prompted me to become trained in BHRT so that I could help other women who might be experiencing the symptoms of hormone imbalance. 

I understand how confusing and concerning it can be when your body starts to experience hormonal imbalances, but I am here to help. I have always been a very active person. I understand first hand, how hormone imbalance can zap you of your energy. It is so very important for me that I am able to live my best balanced hormone life. My goal is to help other women (and men) live their best life with balanced hormones through individualized and evidence-based treatments. 

With my experience in bioidentical hormone replacement therapies, thyroid hormone management, and functional medicine, I realize “one size does not fit all”. That’s why I am committed to the functional medicine approach to design a unique treatment plan that fits YOU! I am passionate about empowering my patients to take control of their health and work with them to find the root cause of their symptoms. I believe that by utilizing a holistic approach, we can create a customized plan that will help you achieve optimal hormonal balance and improve your quality of life.
